The Montgomery River Regions Friends of AMBUCS (American Business Clubs) officially formed on October 3, 2008.

Our Mission

National AMBUCS™,Inc. is a non-profit service organization consisting of a diverse group of men and women who are dedicated to creating mobility and independence for people with disabilities.

Members fulfill our organization's mission by:

• Performing various forms of community service
• Providing AmTryke® therapeutic tricycles to individuals who are unable to operate a traditional bike
• Awarding scholarships to therapists

The Montgomery River Regions Friends of Ambucs uses the AmBility™ program to follow the missions statement. The AmBility program received it's name by combining the word AMBUCS with mobility. The AmBility program was adopted by the National AMBUCS in 1998 to help represent the dedication of the members to creating mobility and independence for those with disabilities. The AmBility program focuses on the areas of equipment and processes.

Currently the MRRFOA (Montgomery River Region Friends of AMBUCS) is focusing on the AmTryke® Project of the AmBility program. As our chapter grows we have plans to expand the AmBility program so that we can help improve our community.
